Information: Funeral services for Luther Parsons, 86, of Ashley, Ohio, formerly of Ripley, who died Thursday at the home of his son, Otis Parsons, were held Sunday at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley.  The Rev. Charles Cavender officiated and burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery.   Born in Jackson County, July 21, 1886, he was the son of the late Jack and Dellia Burdette Parsons.  He was a retired farmer, blacksmith and carpenter.  Survivors include two sons, Otis Parsons, with whom he made his home, and Roy Parsons of Thornsville, Ohio; and two daughters, Mrs. Gatha Stover of Powell, Ohio and Mrs. Aretta Kay Evans of Jackson  County.
