Information: Loa Blache (Wedge) Bletner, 89, of Buffalo WV, passed away November 21, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, following a sudden illness.  She was born February 15, 1922 in Leon WV, a daughter of the late Dorsel E. and Estella Mae (Sayre) Wedge.  Her sister, Freda Batton; brother, Cecil Wedge; and grandchildren, Alan Fichtner, and Sarah Yerian, also preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker, a former teacher at the Owl Hollow School, Leon, a former employee at the 4-H Extension Office in Mason County, and retired from Pleasant Vally Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Point Pleasant.  She was also a member of the Creston Church, and the Creston Ladies Aid.  Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Sue Mash of Buffalo WV, Rebecca and her husband, Bruce Yerian, of London OH, and Carolyn Stroble and her husband, Wolfgang, of Vienna WV; brother, Charles Wedge of Leon; sister, Mary Rosa Keefer of Leon; grandchildren, Melany (Ben) Delong, Christine (Dan) Rinick, Rachel (Mike) Samples, John Fichtner, John (Sheila) Yerian, and James (Kathleen) Yerain; and six great-grandchildren.  The service will be at noon on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans WV, with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating.  Burial will follw in Creston Cemetery, Evans.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Blache's favorite missionary at:  Go Ye Fellowship, P.
