Information: Rev. Lewis Grant Parsons, 76, of Sissonville, died at the Riverside Nursing Home in St. Albans on Sunday after a long illness.  He was born in Kanawha County, May 5, 1895, son of the late William O. and Mary Shuemaker Parsons.  He was a retired Methodist minister, a member of the Falling Water United Methodist Church which he had served as pastor, along with the White Pine United Methodist Church, and he was also a farmer.      He is survived by his wife, Esta Rhodes Parsons; four sons, Ernest Parsons of Charleston, Clifton and Orville Parsons of Sissonville, and Okey Parsons of Gay; four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Reed and Mrs. Freda Westfall of Sissonville, Mrs. Alma Sayre of Buffalo, and Mrs. Gladys Crank of Middletown, O.; three brothers, Danny Parsons of Ravenswood, George Parsons of Sandyville and Dennis Parsons in Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Della Williams and Mrs. Sylvia Young of Duncan and Mrs. Icy Casto of Ripley; 25 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley with the Rev. D. C. Guthrie officiating.  Burial will be in the Falling Water Cemetery at Belgrove.
