  <p>Information: Isaiah T. Parsons, brother of the late J. W. Parsons, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. J. E. Hertze, on Route 1, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 1914, aged 74 years, of paralysis.  He was born in this county, but moved West several years ago, residing there until his health failed two years ago when he returned to West Virginia.  Mr. Parsons was well educated, a brilliant orator, took an active part in politics and stumped the county in behalf of the temperance cause in the last campaign.  He was a member of the Christian Church.  Deceased is survived by one son, his sister, and a host of friends.  The remains were laid to rest in the Sand Creek Baptist Cemetery.  (McIntyre)</p>
