Information: Homer H. Pasons, 87, of Ripley died Monday, January 21, 1980, at home after a long illness. He was born October 8, 1892, a son of the late V.S. and Minnie Wolfe Parsons. He was a director for 50 years at the Bank of Ripley. A veteran of World War I Barracks an the Ripley American Legion. A retired school teacher and farmer, he served on the Selective Sevice Board during World War II. Surviving: wife, Eula; sons, Harry H. and Ernest H., both of Ripley; daughters, Mrs. Irene Casto and Mrs. Anita Kessell, both of Ripley, Mrs. Dorothy Hammond of St. Albans; sisters, Mrs. Fanny Godbey of Ripley, Mrs. Hazel Johns of Marion, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Services were held this morning in Vail Funeral Home in Ripley, with the Rev. Rnald Brooks officiating. Burial followed in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
