  <p>Information: Herbert Fink Parsons, Jr., 71, of Ripley, died Jan. 19, 1994, at Jackson General Hospital after an extended illness.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Herbert F. and Grace Barnett Parsons.  He was a 1941 Ripley High School graduate, and a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.  He was a construction superintendent and a member of Union Local 1085.  Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Parsons; two sons, Rick Parsons of Richland, Wash., and Jeff Parsons of Grand Rapid, Mich.; two daughters, Becky Mumma of Newport, Pa., and Sue Mull of Newport; one brother, Edison J. Parsons of Ripley; two sisters, Betty Ann Darby of Cross Lanes and Alberta Board of North Carolina; and six grandchildren.  The body was cremated.  Services to be held at a later date.  Arrangements by Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley.</p>
