  <p>Information: Herbert D. Parsons, 67, of Gay, died Friday in Jackson General Hospital, after a short illness.  He was a retired FMC worker, and a member of Joe&#39;s Run Community Church.  He was born in Jackson County, the son of Oscar and Alice Cunningham Parsons.  Surviving:  wife, Wilma; daughters, Mrs. Janet Witt of Ripley, Mrs. Mildred Hudnall of Poca; brothers, Harrison and Lawrence of Kentuck; sisters, Mrs. Laura Tolley of Teays Valley, Mrs. Ruth Daoust of Ripley, Mrs. Ruby Pritchett of Charleston, Mrs. Heddie Morrison of Vienna.  Service was Sunday in Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. John King and the Rev. Arnold Conant officiating.  Burial was in Parsons Cemetery, Gay.</p>
