  <p>Information: Harold Eugene Parsons, 83, of Evans WV, passed away February 9, 2015, at Arbors of Gallipolis OH, following an extended illness.  He was born June 19, 1931, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Perry and Lora (Howell) Parsons.  His brothers, Raymond, Lawrence, Tommy and Robert Parsons and sisters, Bertha Barnette, Gladys Krebs and Mable Krebs, also preceded him in death.  He was retired from Foote Mineral Corporation with 32 years service and was a Protestant.  He enjoyed working in his yard and helping his neighbors.  Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Betty Lou (Herdman) Parsons, and several nieces and nephews.  Service was 10 am Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans WV, with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating.  Burial followed in the Creston Cemetery, Evans.  Visitation was 6 pm until 8 pm Tuesday, at the funeral home.  Email condolences may be sent to: castofh@gmail.com.</p>
