Information: General Jackson Parsons, of Kentuck, fell dead Tuesday evening near Mt. Tell about 1:30 p.m. of heart trouble. He left home in good health. He and a friend, George Goodnight, were on their way to the store when the car stopped on a hill. Mr. Parsons got out to chock the car. Mr. Goodnight started the car and pulled about 30 feet and called for him to come. He waited for some time and then looked back and saw Mr. Parsons lying in the road. Two men arrived about the same time. Mr. Parsons was already dead. He is survived by his wife and six children: Romance, Luther, Isabelle, Charity, Estele, Ella and Rupert. His brother, Joshua, mother, and son Rupert have preceded him to the better world. Mr. Parsons' age at death was 69 years, 5 months and 11 days. (from the Betty Kessel McIntyre collection)
