  <p>Information: Franklin O. Parsons, 74, of Winter Haven, Fla., formerly of Charleston, died Wednesday at his home in Winter Haven following a long illness.  He was the brother of Adrian Parsons and Frances Jane Parsons both of Ripley.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Glenwin and Hettie Oldman Parsons.  He was retired from the Union Carbide Plant in South Charleston and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Dunbar.  He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Parsons; one son, Allen Parsons of Paducah, Ky.; one additional brother, Robert Parsons of St. Augustine Fla.; and three grandchildren.  Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley with the Rev Harold Custer officiating. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemeetery, Evans.</p>
