  <p>Information:       Funeral services were held yesterday at Fairview United Methodist Church for Mrs. Frankie O&#39;Dell Shamblen Parsons, 83, of Ripley who died Monday, Feb. 10, 1975, in Jackson General Hospital.  The Rev. William Eaton officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.  Born September 14, 1891 in Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late D.C. and Louisa Staats Shamblen.  She was a former Jackson County and Kanawha County school teacher.  She was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church where she had served as trustee and was a member of it&#39;s Ladies Aid Society.  Survivors include one son, Morley of Ripley; three brothers, Rome L. and Beryl Shamblen both of Aripeka, Fla.; and Arvel Shamben of Charleston; one sister, Louise Adkings of Hometown; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Okey Oscar Parsons, in 1962.</p>
