  <p>Information: Floyd Charles Parsons, 61, of Rt. 1, Gay, died Friday, May 11, 1990, at Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness.  He was born in Gay, a son of the late Ernie and Etta Allen Parsons.  He was a construction worker and a member of the Mapier Community Church, Gay.  He is survived by his wife, Irene Tibble Parsons; three sons, Delmas L. Parsons and Timothy Charles Parsons, both of Gay, and Richard Dewayne Parsons of Spencer; five sisters, Golda Rhodes of Gay, Elva Stuart of Marietta, Ohio, Audrey Kiger of Vienna, Stella Leach of Lubeck, and Tony Norma Allen of Belpre, Ohio; two brothers, Herman Parsons of Evans and Wilburt Parsons of Lubeck.  He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.  Services were held Monday at Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Danny Whited and the Rev. John Ellison officiating.  Burial was in the Mapier Cemetery at Gay.</p>
