  <p>Information: Daniel F. Parsons, 81, Sherman, died Sunday evening at the home of a son, Clyde Parsons, at Sherman.  He was born in Roane County, a son of the late William and Virginia Shumaker Parsons, and was a retired farmer.  He was a member of the White Pine United Methodist Church.  Surviving are four sons, Lafayette Parsons, Charleston, Chester Parsons, Newport News, Va., Gordon Parsons, Murraysville, and Clyde Parsons, at whose home he died; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Walker and Mrs. Mabel Booth, both of Wintersville, O., and Mrs. Oreta Cox of Pinch; two brothers, Dennis Parsons, Massilon, O., and the Rev. George Parsons of Sandyville; three sisters, Mrs. Della Williams and Mrs. Sylvia Young, both of Duncan, and Mrs. Icy Casto of Ohio; 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Vail Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Morrison officiating.  Burial was in the White Pine Cemetery at Belgrove.</p>
