Information:      Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Bell Gibson Parsons, 75 year old wife of Arch Asbury Parsons, of Kenna, were held from the home Tuesday afternoon with Rev. James Anderson officiating and burial with the Parsons undertakers in charge was in the family cemetery.  Mrs. Parsons died at her home on Monday after a long illnbess from cancer.  She was a member of the Stone Lick Methodist Church.  She was born August 14, 1879, a daughter of the late Alexander and Jane Thompson Gibson.  She married Mr. Parsons in 1896 and had lived in the Kenna section of the county all of her life.  She was preceded in death by three sons, Alpha, Greenberry and Donald.  Survivors include the husband,; four sons, Roscoe of Kenna, Cleo of Vicars, Winfred of Dunbar and Richard of Kenna; eight daughters, Mrs. Ollie Harrie of Kenna, Mrs. Lucy Parsons of Ripley, Mrs. Esta Parsons of Charleston, Mrs. Vade Hatcher of Charleston, Miss Iva Parsons at home, Mrs. Erma Casto of Belgrove, Mrs. Wavy Shields of Kenna and Mrs. Verna Casto of Ripley; 42 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  Other survivors include a half-brother, Orville Raines of Akron, and two half-sisters, Nellie Harper of Akron and Lovena Patton of Kansas City.
