  <p>Information:     Clovis L. ""Chubby"" Parsons, age 78, of Fairplain, went home to be with the Lord on December 26, 2003 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.  He was born January 23, 1925 in Jackson County, son of the late Dan and Nettie Casto Parsons.  He was retired from Kardex and was a school bus driver and a greeter at Ripley Wal-Mart.  He was a member of Allen&#39;s Fork Community Church in Goldtown and a World War II  Army Veteran where he served in the Berlin Crises.   He is survived by his wife, Virgnia Frances Hill Parsons; son, Bob Parsons and wife Linda of Fairplain; sisters, Naomi Tolley and Leona Parsons, both of Dunbar and Mae Huffman of Cross Lanes; two grandsons, Tim Parsons and wife Cindy and Rick Parsons and wife Tammy. five great-grandchildren, Kayla Parsons, Jacob Parsons, Tiara Parsons, Regan Parsons, and Destin Parsons.   He will be sadly missed by his family and all that knew him.   Funeral services were held Sunday, December 28, 2003 at Allen&#39;s Fork Community Church at Goldtown.  Vail Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. </p>
