  <p>Information: Benjamin Tapley Parsons, 76, died Sunday morning at his Belgrove home after a long illness.  He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mary Ellen (Hatcher) Parsons, three sons, T. R. (Theodore Roosevelt) and E. L. (Elmore Lawrence) Parsons, of Charleston, and O. M. (Oscar Mathena) Parsons, of Belgrove, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Pearl Durst, of Belgrove.  He was preceded in death by two sons, John Clarence and Nester Albert Parsons.  Funeral services were held Tuesday and the Mays Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements. [Benjamin and Ellen were married 7 Aug 1887 (JCMR).  Mary is the daughter of Calvin L. and Elizabeth (Hamon) Hatcher. Benjamin is the son of Allen R. and Mary E.
