Information: FARMER LEAVES 101 RELATIVES - Arch Asbury Parsons, 83-year old native of the Stone Lick section of the county, died at the home of his daughter, Miss Iva Parsons with whom he made his home on Saturday.  Mr. Parsons died following a long illness leaving 101 descendants.  He was born November 20, 1862, a son of the late Adam Greenberry and Amanda Ellen Alderman Parsons.  Mr. Parsons married Cora Bell Gibson in 1896. He was a farmer and a member of the Stone Lick Methodist Church.  Also surviving are four sons, Richard and Roscoe of Kenna, Cleo of Vicars, and Winfred Parsons of Dunbar; seven other daughters, Mrs. Olie Harris, Mrs. Lucy Parsons and Mrs. Wavy Shields of Ripley, Mrs. VCada Smith of Dunbar, Mrs. Esta Parsons of Charleston, Mrs. Verna Casto of Canton, Ohio, and Mrs. Erma Casto of Belgrove; three brothers, George and Roy of Kenna and Walter Parsons of Dunbar; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Brown of Given and Mr. Dovie Seymore of Ohio; 45 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchidren.  In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by three sons, Alpha, Greenberry and Donald.  The funeral service was held at the Parsons Funeral Home here Monday with Rev. Vairl Winters oficiating and the burial was in the Parsons Family Cemetery on Stone Lick.
