Information:      Alexis Fink Parsons, Jr., was born October 12, 1911, and died on February 21, 1921, age 9 years, 4 months and 9 days.  He was the eldest son and child of Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Parsons, the idol of his father, the pride of his mother and a considerate and affectionate brother to his little sisters and baby brother.  Alexis was a bright, manly little fellow, studious at school, a faithful and much interested church and Sunday School attendant for his tender years, was an ardent admirer of his parents, who to say the least worshipped their son and did everything during the child's young life and stay here on earth for his comfort and betterment, and of course like other parents, their ambitions, and hopes for their son were set high.    His spirit will constantly beckon father, mother, sisters, brother, you and I, to follow him to that better clime, where his spirit has flown.  No one knows why so many children are called, and although our hearts are torn and bleeding for this loss, those who have the faith must say, ""Thy Will Be Done"" or else admit we have no plan or purpose hereafter.  No person, in this age in our land, doubts and stands by that we must face a heaven or hell after we depart from this world.  Although, it seems hard to give Alexis up from this world, there is but one thing left for us to do.  We must face the crises bravely and with the thought paramount in our minds to so live that we too may be with him and the angels when we are called.  His status with God is safe.  Let us see that our standing is the same and there will be a happy reunion with all our loved ones in Heaven.
