Information: Aulene Pearl Parrish, 91, of Sandyville WV passed away February 16, 2013 in CAMC, Memorial Division, following an extended illness.  She was born January 13, 1922, in Rock Castle WV, and was the daughter of the late Jesse Vernon and Viola (Cain) Morrison, and the stepdaughter of the late Dorma Ballard Morrison.  Her first husband, Jarrett Parsons, her second husband, Kenneth Parrish, son, Robert Parsons, daughter, Brenda Parsons, sisters, Flossie Stover, Goldie Barnette, and Velma Barr, and a great-grandson, Kirk Toler, also preceded her in death.  She attended the Mt. Hope Church, and was an active volunteer in the Joe's Run community.  She was retired from the sewing factory at Silverton, was a homemaker, and enjoyed quilting, gardening, and watching birds.      Survivors include her son, Lee Parsons of Gandeeville; daughters, Viola Litton of Fairplain, Gladys (Dale) Bergdorf of Ripley, and Violet Barr of Evans; brothers, Wesley Morrison of Winfield and Ralph Ballard of Long Bottom OH; sister, Macil Rowley of Dunbar; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.  Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans WV, with the Rev. David Hinzman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Barnette Cemetery, Rock Castle.  Visitation will be one hour prior to time of service.  Condolences may be sent to castofh@gmail.com.
