Information: Sallie Margaret Purdy Park, 88, of Ravenswood, died at home on July 4, 2000.    She was born in Moundsville, WV, the daughter of the late Alex and Kate French Purdy.  She attended Ohio State and graduated from Ohio University.  An artist, she expressed her creativity in painting, knitting, and many arts and crafts, and served on the State Arts Council.  She founded the Ravenswood Junior Women's Club in 1936.  During WWII, she participated in the civil air patrol.  She worked at Farmers Building and Loan and later was a long time board member of Farmer Federal.  Active in the Ravenswood schools, she was a substitute, full time, then volunteer teacher, and a member of the Retired Teachers Association.  She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Eastern Star, American Association of University Women, Delta Kappa Gamma, and served her community on the Jackson County Historical Society, Jackson County Development Authority, the Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and on the vestries of Grace and St. John's Episcopal Churches in Ripley and Ravenswood.   Survivors include a daughter, Sallie Kate Park Kish, of Lee, MA, and son, Robert K. Park II, of Belleair Beach, FL, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Park, Sr., two sisters and two brothers.   Services will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenswood at 2 p.m. today.  Visitation will be at the Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, from 10 a.m. to noon today.  Burial will be in the Ravenswood Cemetery.
