Information: Harry T. Palmer, 83, of Parkersburg, died last Tuesday morning in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, following a long illness.  He was born in Wetzel County, a son of the late Grant and Ida Parsons Palmer.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, was retired after 25 years with Corning Glass Works, was formerly employed at the First National Bank of Ravenswood, formerly taught school in Wirt and Jackson counties and was a former teacher of the Men's Bible Class.  He is survived by his wife, Vesta Currey Palmer; one son, Herbert Palmer of Parkersburg, former Parkersburg South High School principal; two grandsons; three brothers, Elzie Palmer and Lindsay Palmer, both of Sandyville, Lysander Palmer of Arizona; four sisters, Zora Kittle of Lubeck, Virginia Balis and Louise Hutchinson, both of Sandyville, Pauline Somerville of Palestine.  Services were Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lejuene Lewis officiating.  Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery South.  Kimes Funeral Home, Parkersburg, was in charge of arrangements.
