  <p>Information: Clara L. Balderson Palmer, 95, of Turnberry Lane, Midlothian VA, formerly of Parkersburg, died Friday at Midlothian.  She was a member of the Seventh Street United Methodist Church and a graduate of Ravenswood High School and Salem College.  She was a retired teacher from the Wood County and Jackson County school systems with more than 30 years of service.  She also retired from the Washington County school system as a teacher, with more than five years of service.  She continued teaching as a substitute until she was 75 years old.  Born in Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late George and Allie Balderson.  Surviving:  sons, Robert B. Palmer of Williamstown and James E. Palmer of Parkersburg; daughter, Betty Palmer Snider of Midlothian, with whom she made her home for six years; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Sutton J. Palmer and 12 brothers and sisters.  Services were Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, Rev. G. Frank Plybon and Rev. William P. Snider officiating.  Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Seventh Street United Methodist Church.</p>
