  <p>Information: Finney Bascum Painter, 74, died at his home at Given, Jackson County, Tuesday.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Painter; six daughters, Mrs. Wavie Casto of Dunbar, Mrs. Palestine Starcher, Mrs. Pearl Casto, Mrs. Avalee Bonnett and Mrs. Omel French, all of Given, Mrs. Addie Starcher of Liberty; six sons, Ivan of Eleanor, Cloyd of Charleston, Otho of Red House, Estel, Lexie and Ray, all of Given; three brothers, Alamander of Given, Manchester of Charleston and Sherley of Dunbar; four sisters, Mrs. Alwilda Pierson of Nicholas County, Mrs. Ica Parsons of Florida, Mrs. Anna Tinsley of Tyler Mountain and Mrs. Ida Gillespie of Dunbar; 51 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 pm today at Emma Chapel, Jackson County, Rev. Luther Casto will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with the Parsons Mortuary of Ripley in charge.</p>
