Information: Brady ""Bud"" Arden Painter, 78, of Given, died Monday, October 28, 2002, at the Veterans Hospital in Huntington. He was born December 31, 1924, in Jackson County, a son of the late Brady Estel and Reva Hopkins Painter.  He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Masonic Lodge AF & AM#16, a Shriner, a member of the VFW Post #5501 of Ripley, a member of the Ripley Moose, and a retired carpenter of Point Pleasant Local Union.  He is survived by three sons, James E. of Letart, Richard D. and wife Connie of Given, and Randall K. and wife Cheryl of Given; one sister, Lorena Casto of Fairplain; and five grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; an infant daughter; sons, Brady A. Jr. and Ronnie; a brother, Bill; and a sister Ruth.  Funeral services were held Thursday, October 31, at the Vail Funeral Home Chapel with John Gunther officiating.  Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Given.
