Information: Funeral services were held last week at the White Funeral Home in Coolville for Mrs. Jessie S. Owens, 85, of Coolville.  She was born in Sandyville, daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy Burch Armstrong.  She was a member of the Kissimmee Baptist Church, Kissimmee, Fla., and resided in Coolville for a number of years.  She is survived by her husband, Fred R. Owens; one son, Joe of Coolville; one brother, Thomas Armstrong of Charleston; one sister, Mrs. Helen Campbell of Kissimmee; four grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.  She was preceded in death by one son, Robert and two brothers, two sisters and one great-grandchild.  The Rev. Roy Deeter officiated at the funeral.  Burial was in the Kent Cemetery.
