Information: Elizabeth M. Ong, 78 year old widow of the late Elias F. Ong, died at her home on Church Street in Ripley last Saturday morning at nine o'clock.  The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist church with Rev. John J. Louden in charge and the body was taken to the Otterbein Cemetery for burial.  Mrs. Ong was a native of Meigs County, Ohio and when a young woman she was married to the late E. F. Ong and for many years they resided at Angerona.  Later they came to Ripley where she had since made her home.  The husband preceded her in death as did one son, Robert Ong.  She is survived by the following children:  Mrs. John R. Stewart, of Milwaukee, Wisc.; Mrs. Robert Currence and Mrs. P. C. Williams, both of Charleston; Charles F. Ong, of Cedar Grove; Mrs. Arthur H. (Mabel) Kipple and Nathan Ong, of Altoona, Pa., and Filmore Ong, of Seattle, Washington.  All the children were here for the funeral except the son who lives in Washington and who was not notified in time for him to make the trip here for the funeral. Mrs. Ong was a member of the Epworth Methodist Church at Ripley and of the Order of the Eastern Star, who conducted their ritualistic rites at the funeral service Monday afternoon.
