Information: Sad indeed and a great shock to the community was the death of Jasper Oldham.  Funeral services were conducted at Otterbein by Rev. T. H. Rymer.  Interment in the Staats Cemetery at Evans, W. Va.  His aunts, Misses Johnie and Pearl Lewis of Pittsburgh, Pa., were three hours late for the burial.  (McIntyre)
