Information: Denise Fern Obrien, 59, of Ripley, passed away March 5, 2012 at Charleston Memorial Hospital following a long illness.  She was born August 26, 1952 at Lorain, Ohio, a daughter of the late Forrest Warren and Jane Chambers Boatman.  She is survived by her husband, Warren Abshire; four sons, Robert O'Connell, Craig O'Connell, Sean Obrien, and Warren Abshire; sisters, Margaret Lynn McLaughlin and Maureen Hunt; also survived by nine grandchildren.  In honoring her wishes, there will be no service and her body will be cremated.  Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is serving the family.
