  <p>Information:               Funeral rites for John N. NUZUM, 78 year old farmer of Leroy, were held from the Fairview Church Friday afternoon at 2 o&#39;clock and burial was in the chruch cemetery.  Mr. NUZUM died in a Parkersburg hospital on Tuesday following a brief illness.  Born in Marion County, Mr. NUZUM moved to Leroy with his parents when he was a small child.  He is suvived by his wife, Mrs. Amanda (DEPUE) NUZUM; five chidlren, Hollie NUZUM of Ravenswood, Olen NUZUM of Leroy, Mrs. Chloe CREW of Ohio, Mrs. Gladys MCQUEEN of Parkersburg and Mrs. Mildred BALDERSON of Portsmouth, Virginia; three brothers, the Rev. James NUZUM of Barnsville, Ohio, the Rev. Harry N. NUZUM of Cottageville, and Frank NUZUM of Bridgeport, WV. and two sisters, Mrs. Phoebe ANDERSON of Akron, Ohio and Mrs. Julia CAYTON of Silverton, also surviving are 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  One son, Herbert NUZUM, preceded him in death several months ago.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)     </p>
