  <p>Information: Virgil O. Nuckles, 62 of Ripley died at the Jackson General Hospital Tuesday following a long illness.  He was born in Jackson County, son of the late Charlie Nuckles and Eva Bosewell Nuckles.  He was a retired employee of the LIbbey Owens Ford Co.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Acel Dillon Nuckles; five sons, Ralph, Charles, Gene, Troy and Roy all of Ripley; one half-brother, Boyd Nuckles of Kentucky; one half-sister, Mrs. Calvin Lambert of Kingsport, Tenn; and nine grandchildren.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley.  The Rev. Shirley Hammack and the Rev. Ted Winkler will officiate.  Burial will be in the Fairplain Cemetery.</p>
