Information: Emily Elizabeth (Roberts) Nichols, was born 4 March 1854 at Milledgeville, Pa. and departed this life at the home of her son near Ravenswood 29 July 1940, aged 86 years, 4 months and 25 days.  She was united in marriage to Philetus Nichols Oct. 21, 1873.  To this union eight children were born, two of whom together with her husband preceded her in death.  She is survived by six children, William of Texax, Charles of Wyoming, Clarence and Robert of Ravenswood, Mrs. Anna Risher and Mrs. Margaret Gardner, of Huntington.  She is also survived by one brother, David Roberts, of Butler, Pa., and one sister, Mrs. Cynthia Marrow, also of Butler, 25 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
