  <p>Information: Lura Doughty Nelson, 87, of Ravenswood, died April 6, 1998 at Jackson General Hospital. She was born October 15, 1910 in Jackson County WV, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Lilly Taylor Doughty.  She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and a member of the Milhoan Ridge Bapist Church, Murraysville, WV.  Surviving:  sons, Earnest Nelson of Sandyville, and Charles Nelson of Ravenswood; daughter, Lucille Maple of Martinsville, Ohio; brothers, Albert Doughty of Kenna, and Wilford Doughty of Cross Lanes; sisters, Luda Cummings of Ravenswood and Ella Cobb of Stewart, Fla.; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by husband, John E. Nelson, and her parents.  Service will be Thursday, April 9, 1998, 2:00 p.m. Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood WV, the Rev. Darrell Johnson and Pastor Larry Coffman officiating.  Burial will be in Ravenswood cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today (Wednesday), April 8, 1998 at the Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood WV.</p>
