Information: PROMINENT RIPLEY WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY - Mrs. Goldie Dorothy (Coe) Myers, 78, the wife of Clarence F. Myers, Ripley real estate and insurance businessman, was dead on arrival Friday at Jackson General Hospital. She was found on the lawn of the Myers home where she had collapsed and was rushed to the hospital in a hospital-based ambulance where she was pronounced dead. She was born at Cottageville, daughter of the late Charles M. and Della King Coe. She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church, the Bethany White Shrine and was past matron of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Jack W. and C. Donald, both of Ripley; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Donaldson of Steubenville, O., Mrs. Alma Kolb of Magadore, O., and Mrs. Marie Morgan of Sandyville; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Epworth United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Holbert officiating. Burial was in the Otterbein Cemetery. Vail Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
