  <p>Information: C. Donald Myers, 87, of Ripley passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at his daughter&#39;s residence in Ripley with his family by his side. Born Jan. 27, 1920, in Cottageville, he was the son of the late Clarence Franklin Myers and Golda Coe Myers. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Wilma Miller Myers and a brother, Jack Wendell Myers. C. Donald retired as owner of Myers Insurance Agency and Real Estate in Ripley. As a World War II Army veteran, he served in France during the war. He was also a Scottish Rite Mason, a Nemesis Shriner, a past president of the Ripley Rotary Club, and a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church. During the past 28 years, he served as the main bookkeeper for the dental office of Drs. Layne and Myers in Ripley. C. Donald will be greatly missed by his daughter, Dr. Dawn M. Myers and her husband, Dr. Thomas H. Layne III, of Ripley, and three grandchildren, Rayn Thomas Layne of Ripley, Evan Alexander Layne of New York City, and Vaughn Mackenzie Layne of Greenville, S.C. He will also be missed by his son, Dr. Babak Noorbakhsh and his wife, Julie DiGregorio Noorbakhsh and two grandchildren, Seth Isaac Noorbakhsh and Sarah Alyson Noorbakhsh, all of Vienna. C. Donald left behind a special friend, Joan Hunt of Ripley. Service at Epworth United Methodist Church, Ripley and burial with military honors in the Fairplain Cemetery near Ripley.      	 </p>
