  <p>Information: Elah Roberta Murray, 81, of Ripley, died August 16 in Jackson General Hospital after a short illness.  Born in Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late James Martin and Mary Boice Landfried.  She was a member of the Centennial Methodist Church and Ladies Aid.  Surviving are one stepson, Haydon Murray of Cottageville; three stepdaughters, Roberta Cunningham of Ripley, Irene Gilkerson and Lenora Vanfosson, both of East Liverpool, Ohio; one sister, Lelia Garrett of Ripley; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceeded in death by her husband, Jessie Murray, who died in 1964.  The funeral was Friday in Parsons Funeral Home Chapel, Ripley, with the Rev. Paul Parsons officiating.  Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery.</p>
