Information: Wilbert Levi ""Webb"" Mullen, 78, of Mineral Wells, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 19, after an extended illness. He was born October 21, 1936 in Walker WV, the son of the late Charles Henry and Margaret Davis Mullen. He was the beloved husband of Donna Jean and the father of three children, Gary (Sandy) Mullen of Ijamsville MD, Margaret Anderson of Ripley WV and Wilbert ""Wil"" (Chantelle) Mullen of Fredericksburg VA. Webb was born into a large, close-knit family including, Charles ""Pete"" Mullen of Harrisville WV, Cathy (Terry) Daggett of Mineral Wells WV, Richard (Jean) Mullen of Spencer WV, Loretta ""Annie"" (Tom) Daniels of Belpre OH, Ruth (Bob) Martin of Niangua MO, Randall (Ernestine) Mullen of Spencer WV, Paul (Patti) Mullen of Knob Noster MO, and Patty (David) Parrish of Mt. Alto WV. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur ""Cliff"" Mullen and Clarence Mullen. He was a devoted family man whose pride and joy were his six grandchildren: Christina (Mike) Heinemann and Stefanie (Shaun) Jones of MD; Fawn Anderson of WV and Levi, Michael and Savanna Mullen of VA. Webb was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He spent many years in the construction business working for McCormick Properties before returning to WV and starting his own business, Mullen Builders. He later opened Ripley Firestone where he ramained until he retired in 1997. He and his wife moved to Wood County in 1998 and became active members of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church. Webb enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was well regarded by those who knew him. Services were held Monday at 11 am December 22, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., South Parkersburg, with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Military rites by the American Legion Post #15 were held at the funeral home. Burial followed at Palestine Cemetery, Palestine WV.
