  <p>Information: William L. Morrison, 73 years old, died at a Charleston hospital last Saturday.  He had been ill for some time.  Mr. Morrison was born in Ripley on October 27, 1864, the son of Granville P. and Virginia Wolfe Morrison.  For several years during his lifetime, he was engaged in business at Ripley, later being engaged in mercantile business at Clendenin and Clarksburg.  For the past several years he had been associated with his brother, O. J. Morrison, in the Morrison Department Store at Charleston.  He is survived by his widow; three sons, W. L. Morrison, Jr., Don Morrison, and Dana Morrison; two daughters, Winifred Morrison and Mrs. Gene Moore; one grandson, Gene Moore II; two sisters, Mrs. A. P. Fisher and Mrs. I. C. Prickett; two brothers, O. J. Morrison of Charleston and C. M. Morrison of Huntington.  Funeral services were held in Charleston last Saturday afternoon at 3 o&#39;clock and burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park in that city.  [Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]</p>
