Information: Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Casto Morris of Ripley, who died in a Beckley hospital Monday night following an illness of several months, were to be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Martins Chapel on Mud Run with Rev. L. R. Mahoney officiating.  Burial will be at the church cemetery with J. B. Vail, the undertaker, in charge.  Mrs. Morris was 22 years of age at the time of her death.  She attended school here and was a member of the Sidneyville United Brethern church.  She became ill last spring and was taken to the Beckley hospital for treatment during the summer.  Besides her husband, Wendell Morris, she leaves the following children, Ronald, 5, Hazel, 3, and William, 7 months old; her father, W. C. Casto, of Advent; and three brothers, Kermit of the C.C.C. Camp at Durbin, W. Va., Paul of Parkersburg and Harold of Ripley. [from the Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
