  <p>Information: Granville Morris died at the home of his son, W. H. Morris, at Aplin, Jackson county, W. Va., May 7, 1911, after an illness of two weeks.  He had been in poor health for a long time.  He was born in Harrison county, W. Va., February 7, 1839.  He married to Sarah Staats in February, 1863.  To them were born eleven children, three girls and eight boys.  His wife died May 25, 1891.  Two girls and five boys still survive.  Two boys live in Nicholas county.  He was converted and joined the M. P. church while in his youth, remaining a faithful member to the last.  He was tenderly laid to rest in Sinaiville graveyard Monday, May 8.  A large crowd of relatives and friends attended the funeral services conducted by D. W. Winter.  Farewell, brother, thou hast left us In this world of sin and care, But we hope again to meet thee in the mansions bright and fair.   A friend.</p>
