Information: SCOUTMASTER DIES AT SANDYVILLE Lewis E. Morgan, 52, of Sandyville, was dead on arrival at Jackson General Hospital Wednesday morning. Born at Sandyville, he was the son of Bertha Weekley Morgan and the late Phases Morgan. He was a member of the Drift Run United Methodist Church, and the Junior Order of the United American Mechanics, was an assistant scoutmaster Troop 441 of Sandyville, and was a veteran of World War II. He is also survived by his wife, Evelyn Angus Morgan; two sons, Craig of Little Hocking OH, and Neil at home; two daughters, Mrs. Diana Hanlon of Sandyville and Kathy at home; a brother, Robert of Ripley; a sister, Mrs. Katherine Boggess of Ripley and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Drift Run United Methodist Church with the Rev Ernest Marty officiating. Burial was in the Drift Run Cemetery. Vail Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
