Information: Bertha E. Morgan, 87, of 301 First Ave., Ripley, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1989, at the Jackson General Hospital.  She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Grant and Charlotte Robinson Weekley. She was a member of the Drift Run United Methodist Church, Sandyville.  She was a member of the Paradise Rebecca Lodge No. 19, recipient of the Declaration of Chilvary from the Rebecca Lodge.  She was a Red Cross volunteer at Jackson General Hospital and graduated from WVU with a master's degree and was a retired schoolteacher.  She is survived by one son, Robert Morgan of Ravenswood; one daughter, Katherine Boggess of Ripley; one brother, Floyd Weekley of Sandyville; four sisters, Alma Smallwood of Berryville, Va., Agnes Crowder of Ripley, Garnett Griffith of Vienna, Charity Moore of Ashland, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  Services were Friday at Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Jack Berry officiating.  Burial was in Drift Run Cemetery, Sandyville.
