Information: Harrison H. Allen, 78 year old resident of Sandyville, died on December 23 from heart disease.  He died at the home of his son-in-law, Ira Richards.  The funeral services were held on December 24 at the Mt. Hope church with Rev. Isaac Hinzman in charge and burial was in the cemetery there.  Mr. Allen was a native of Roane county and is survived by his widow.  [Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
