  <p>Information: Mooney, Charles Franklin                    Charles Franklin Mooney died at Maryland General Hospital , Baltimore, on Oct. 11, 1949 of a heart attack after a long illness.  The burial was in the Baltimore National Cemetery.   He was born near Coniksville, Virginia, Nov. 14, 1893 and moved with his family to Davis, WV when he was a small boy.  Mr. Mooney served with the 165th Infantry of Rainbow Division in France in World War I.  He suffered a severe leg wound from which he never fully recovered.  After his discharge from the Army service he worked in his home town for a few months, then moved to Baltimore where he lived from 1924 until his death.  Mr. Mooney was a clerk in the Baltimore Post Office.  He married May Mazilla Parsons on Feb. 17, 1919 at Ripley, WV.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)     </p>
