  <p>Information: Earl Cornelious Monday, of Ripley, passed away at his home.  He was born May 2, 1935, in Kenna, WV, a son of the late Talmadge Cornelious and Clessie Lee (Harrison) Monday.  His sister, Flavella Pearson and an infant brother also preceded him in death.  He was a United States Army veteran, a self-employed mechanic and former employee of the Devon Corporation.  He enjoyed trading and showing cars.  Survivors include his companion of 35 years, Carol Hamon; sons, Earl Mark Monday (Pamela) of Ripley, Michael Matthew Monday (Barbara) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Bill Hamon (Kathy) of Kenna; daughters, Wendy Monday Wolfe (Scott) of Ripley, and Melissa Starcher of Cottageville; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Immediately following the service, military honors were provided by American Legion Post #107, Ripley.</p>
