Information: CYCLE INJURIES FATAL TO FORMER EVANS MAN - Injuries received in a motorcycle accident on State Route 87 Sunday, Sept. 3, resulted in the death, Sunday, Sept. 10, at Charleston General Hospital of Odus Dale Miller, 25, of Lakewood, Ohio, a native of Evans. Funeral services are to be conducted today (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. at the Otterbein E.U. B. Church, the Rev. Armor Sayre officiating, with burial in Otterbein Cemetery. Casto Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The accident was reported to have occurred on the Leon-Baden Road, just off Rt. 87, when Miller's motorcycle upset and he was thrown against a post alongside the road. The deceased was born June 14, 1942 at Evans, a son of Odus and Lettie Hall Miller. He was married April 13, 1963 to Dorothy Lieving. Mr. Miller was an employee of Otis Elevator Co., Baker Division, Cleveland. Surviving in adddition to his wife Dorothy, are two sons, Dale Allen and Jerry Lee Miller, at home; one daughter, Polly Ann, at home; his mother, Mrs. Lettie Miller and grandmother, Mrs. Rilla Hall, both of Columbus; four brothers, James, Everett, Floyd and Donald Miller, all of Columbus; four sisters, Mrs. Roberta Matheny of Columbus, Mrs. Opal Friend of Mt. Alto, Mrs. Susie Hood of Ripley and Miss Shirley Miller of Cottageville.
