Information: Edzel Lee Allen was born April 7, 1936 and departed this life November 20, 1936, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Allen.  He leaves to mourn their loss, his father, mother, two sisters, Wanda Jean and Wilma Florence, of Sandyville; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Carder, of Gay, and a group of other relatives.  His funeral was conducted by Rev. S. D. Harvey, of Sandyville, at Mt. Herod church out on Route 5 on November 21, and his remains were laid to rest there in the family cemetery.  [from the Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
