  <p>Information: Helen H. Kirk Miller, 64, of Ripley, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1990, at a Lancaster, Ohio, nursing home, following a long illness.  She was born Aug. 25, 1925, in Ripley, daughter of the late David Hamon, DDM, and Maggie Hamon.  She was the widow of former Ripley mayor, John Miller.  She was a retired registered nurse, having served in that capacity for 18 years at Jackson General Hospital.  Prior to that she was a nurse at a Charleston hospital.  Survivors include:  daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Steve Barnett of Lancaster, OH; two grandchildren, Jacqueline and Brian Barnett, Lancaster, OH; two sisters, Ruby Duff, Rockledge, FL, Ada Patterson, Navarre OH; brother, David Hamon, Pensacola, FL; sister-in-law, Martha Hamon, Ripley.  Funeral services were held Friday at Parsons Funeral Home with the Rev. William Eaton officiating.  Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Jackson County Public Library.</p>
