  <p>Information: David Gordon ""Gord"" Miller, 86, of Charleston, died Nov. 3, 1987, in General Division, CAMC, after a short illness.  He was a member of Shepherd Chapel United Methodist Church.  He retired from Long-Fisher Funeral Home in 1985.  He was born in Jackson County and lived most of his life in the Charleston area.  Surviving:  wife, Erna Slater Miller; daughter, Mrs. Virginia J. Kirksey of San Pedro, Calif.; sons. William F. ""Dick"" of Ventura, Calif., Charles Herman ""Midge"" of Sissonville, Carl Gordon of Cross Lanes; brother, Asa L. of Charleston; sister, Marie Hedrick of St. Albans; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  Service was Friday at Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. J. R. Keener officiating.  Burial was in Miller family cemetery, Route 1, Kenna.</p>
