Information: Charles Edward Miller, 84, of Big Chimney, died Thursday at the home of a daughter, Delores Butcher of Ripley, after a long illness. He was a retired employee of Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Co. He was one of the founders and charter members of Mile Fork Tabernacle and was a lifelong resident of Kanawha County. Also surviving: daughter, Mrs. Martha Teel of Big Chimney; son, Bud of Big Chimney; sisters, Mrs. Gladys Reedy of Florida, Mrs. Annabelle Cummings of Charleston, Mrs. Violet Tulley of Point Pleasant; brothers, Frank of Pocatalico, Clarence of Elkview, Edgar of Florida; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Goff officiating. Burial will be in Koontz Cemetery, Fisher Ridge, Goldtown. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
