Information: Mrs. Blanche Belle Miller, 83, of Parkersburg, died at her residence Thursday evening. Mrs. Miller was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late George and Louise Benson McLaughlin. She was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church on Gihon Road. Surviving are six sons, Exmar Miller, Philba Miller and George Miller, all of Parkersburg, Jack Miller of Kirkersville, Ohio, Herbert Miller of Huntington, and Ivan Miller of Barberton, Ohio; four daughters, Zelma Litton and Betty Channell, both of Parkersburg, and Helen Hinzman and Fanny Jane Hascue, both of Sandyville; a brother, Otis McLaughlin of Sandyville; a sister, Fanny Murray of Sandyville; 34 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Miller, in 1954; and by one brother, two sisters and a grandson. Services were conducted Sunday at the Evangelical Methodist Church with the Rev. J. Neal Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Jackson County. Leavitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Miller's body was taken to the Mount Hope Church in Jackson County where a brief committal service was conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday with burial following.
